all alone despite everything around all confused despite everyone around all empty despite abundance all tired despite rest --- children cry because they love their vocal cords and because they haven't learnt anything else yet. not even about their eyes and hands and ears and hair. crying is childish maybe because of the elementary-ness in it, indicating something is not aligned as annoyingly, unclearly as possible. children cry because they don't know anything about the world they don't know anything about the things going within them let alone around them they cry because they want someone to just hold them to just be with them maybe they are scared they are cold they are hungry they are anxious or because they might not be able to complete the deliverable and their boss might fire them ok maybe the last one is highly unlikely but then again don't friends cry too? not with tears but some with ranting sessions and some just stay eerily quiet... people cry too in many in different ways and yet, we aren't averse we are actually kind, providing a shoulder, an eager ear a glass of confidence and a shot of pain killer all to ease the pain... so, why do we cry? to melt the pain away to dissolve the frustration to release the sadness when you are cut the blood flows out at least for a little while and if you try and stop it it will sometimes burn, stretch the wound... remember the ointment never stops the flow it only ever gives enough time for the blood to oxidize and coagulate it helps the blood coagulate faster... but blood has to start coagulating... similarly, when you can't move anywhere, cry... for it will melt the blocks within you and pave the way for love...
