OC #120: why pain
why should we force ourselves to do things? why should we worry about replenishing dopamine? why should we maintain equilibrium? seek balance? why should we do things the way we do things? instead of being driven by the mind why not let the heart take the steering wheel? what are we afraid of? cheating? lying? hurting? isn't being afraid of cheating worse than cheating itself? for if you cheat and confess, you hurt you do a wrong thing but you are over it and your mind is free to understand where is it coming from... what we say we will do, is not what we always do it should be obvious from the new year resolutions and so what's the harm in letting the heart steer perhaps, you will not cheat you will not deceit but you will get so close to be able to touch the cheat and see the curtain of what it is covering is it hurt? of you not getting what you wanted? of you being always undermined by others? or of your lack of faith in your partner to accept what you have to say? who has faith these days? you say you do but you never do anything risky never do anything with less than 100% success chance. and maybe that's why it's important to let the steering back to the heart but the last time heart steered it, there was just so much blood, hurt and pain and for everyone around you and maybe you made countless mistakes but that's how you broke into the next league. but more importantly if you give the mantle back to your heart it will also tell you when you are hurt in the moment when you are tired in the moment when you care about someone when you are frustrated because you haven't met them when you are just fried just burnt and crashed and that you need to rest. but most of the time the pain, does not make sense and so i ask why does pain have to make sense for it to be acknowledged and accepted? isn't it truly yours? can't you love it unconditionally?
